"The Taliban are weak now and people are not so afraid of them, so now people can help the government," You can see that the Taliban are being arrested everywhere.
That’s because the people are helping."
Salam Bacha Barakzai
Standing Up...
Tribesmen clashed with Taliban militants in northwestern Kurram on the Afghan border. Two militants died and their hideouts set ablaze...now that is what I have been talking about...the People making a stand against the Taliban and other forces within...this is what needs to happen
in a fight for Freedom and hopefully more and more people will join the cause for then the Taliban's reign of terror will surely end...the poppy crop was really down this year so the Taliban are raising money thru kidnapping and robbing
banks and jewelry stores and of course...guns for hire...Karzai has been talking with the warlords and the Taliban trying to reach some sort of peace...I wouldn't hold my breath however...
All the buzz today was Karzai receiving "bags of money" from Iran...this should
not surprise anyone but yet it has the attention of the world...this is a man that was a Warlord along with a long line of relatives...The amount
of fraud and bribery is staggering...everyone gets a cut...money that is meant for a
id
goes to Taliban for protection...There are alot of nations that are corrupt...including us but Afghanistan has to be the worst...corruption on all levels and we are backing
them and dying for them...did I miss something somewhere...we did not go to Afghan to fight their battles...we went there
to destroy all those responsibale for 911...Al-Qaeda and we went to disrupt their terrorism network...and our Troops did the
job amazely...now we are fighting all the bad guys Afghan and Pakistan and Iran can throw at us...did I miss that memo also...
Every day in Iraq millions awake to horror and bloodshed...the Iraq Army and Police can not contend with these cowards and besides they are to busy doing drugs to "feel better" about their plight...each
day the number of attacks increase and more innocents are slaughtered...buildings are leveled...markets destroyed...Mosque and shrines blown up...the government has still not been formed...the militias are all rearming ready to
do battle but with whom...in every section of Baghdad there is violence including the once safe green zone...the city is in
total chaos and the amount of attacks are not stopping same in Mosul and Tikrit and Samawa and many more...with the lack of
leadership I see a civil war in the making...
